| Consultants
tend to have more than five years of work experience and are either promoted
from the ranks of the analysts or hired from outside the company.
They have primary responsibility to manage all day-to-day aspects of client
cases and typically manage the contributions of Analysts
and Research Associates. Consultants have
significant levels of client interaction and the opportunity to generate
new business directly with clients. Consultants have developed a deep level
of expertise in all Equinox Group key competencies.

I started working at Equinox Group as a Research Associate after graduating from Yale University. Over the next several years, the company provided many growth opportunities, and I was promoted to Analyst and then to Consultant. Equinox strikes the perfect balance between being a relatively flat organization, where everyone’s contributions are valued, and having a career development path that promotes goal setting and achievement. After four years at Equinox Group, I left to attend The Wharton School. Comparing my experiences at Equinox with those of my business school classmates at other companies, I learned more about how unique the company’s culture is. Few places offer a supportive environment where hard work, efficiency, and life balance are equally valued, and where the work is fun. When I graduated with an MBA in health care management, I decided to try a different career path, but soon realized I would not find a better job than the one I had had at Equinox Group. I returned to my position as a Consultant at Equinox, where I continue to gain responsibility and grow professionally.
