Careers at Equinox: Analyst
Analysts have two to five years of work experience and have developed sufficient expertise in all Equinox key competencies to conduct client cases with minimal direction from senior staff members.  They are proficient in Excel and Visual Basic and have developed excellent modeling skills.

Depending on the size and scope of a project, Analysts work either independently or in a team setting. Analysts work on several projects at once; each project lasts from two weeks to four months. They often have significant contact with clients and occasionally manage the work of Research Associates.

Like Research Associates, Analysts typically have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in biology, mathematics/statistics, chemistry, or economics. Most Equinox Analysts have been promoted from Research Associate, having demonstrated the ability to produce excellent analytical results at a high rate of speed.

Equinox Group offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, a profit-sharing plan, and a 401(k) plan.

After graduating from Amherst College with a dual degree in economics and French, I joined an environmental economics company. I enjoyed creating cost-benefit analyses there, but I realized that I was more interested in cost-of-illness studies than in hazardous waste.

Working for a pharmaceutical consulting firm has satisfied many of my interests. Equinox Group allows me to use my analytical skills both in writing and in computer modeling. I am able to apply my knowledge of French by interviewing French physicians and reading French articles on clinical trials. Another bonus is the work environment; people here are friendly and believe in work-life balance. I am very glad I joined Equinox Group.
